License Testing Information |
The Club has a VE Team (ARRL VEC Volunteer Examiners) that administers examinations four times a year for persons wishing to obtain a new FCC amateur radio license or upgrade their existing license. The normal dates are the second Saturday in February, May, August, and November. Contact Bill Stewart WA9AQQ, the team liaison, for additional information by using the contact button below. For more information on how to get licensed as an amateur radio operator (commonly known as a ham) you will find important information from the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) by clicking on the button below for the ARRL Licensing web site.
