John (KE5NDS) & Linda (KF5GEI) Stone's tower and antenna projects April 2008 & May 2016
In April 2008, after digging a hole that would take 9 cubic yards of concrete to fill, John put up a Texas Towers 55' crank-up tower. Initially, he placed a VHF, and a HF vertical on top. That went unchanged for 8 years until May 2016.
In May 2016, between rain showers, a most able group from the club attended a special party, (Antenna Party) to assist Mr. & Mrs. Stone with the erection of their new Mosley five-element beam. After many measurements, calculations, recalculations, and a collective opinion as to the validity of the assembly instructions.... "we got er done!" John is enjoying talking to the world. We must also note that Mrs. Stone made a most valued contribution to the project with cookies and liquid refreshments for the group during rest sessions.

George Kittner K5IIK tower and antenna projects. August 2014, November 2017, & May 2019 before moving again.
Well, we got George's antenna and all up, coax ran, ham shack up and all working. But three years later he moved, so these pics show some of work at both locations. But then it came down again on May 6th, 2019, because he just moved again!? Word is, he wants it back up at the new house!
May 6th, 2019 Herb Beer helps take down George's tower... again!
